Biographies
Patricia Frost has been with PACE Architects since its inception. She now brings over thirty years of professional architecture experience to each project’s design team. Pat has a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Illinois–Urbana. No matter the size, she considers each project an opportunity to succeed.
As an avid believer in caring about the greater community’s welfare and fortunes, she donates her time to organizations such as American Institute of Architects Wisconsin, Taliesin Preservation, the UWM–SARUP Dean’s Club, Professional Dimensions, and Junior Achievement. During off hours, Pat enjoys the performing arts and local travel. She is also a novice bird watcher and gardener to appease her outdoor impulses.
Cynthia Ethington, one of the founding partners of PACE Architects, is responsible for the business development of the firm. She received her Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Fine Arts–Interior Design Degree from Northern Illinois University. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the UWM-SARUP Dean’s Club, TEMPO, and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Alumni Association.
When Cynthia is not at work she enjoys cooking, traveling, and a variety of outdoor sports. She has been known to create some amazing desserts that score closely to those in the best culinary magazines — a fact she will modestly deny when asked about.
Brian Kobasick received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After working on a wide variety of projects with varied delivery methods across the country, he was looking for more personal client contact and the opportunity to lead his projects through to completion. In 1997, he made the move to PACE Architects and has been here ever since. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Construction Specifications Institute, and is certified in Construction Document Technology.
In his spare time you may find Brian on the water with his fly rod, camping with his wife and children, working out at the “Y”, or helping a friend with a remodeling project. If you happen to see him in bumper to bumper traffic with the radio turned up and jamming on one of his harmonicas, try to ignore the fact that he’s steering with his knee… “Hey, I limit that to 10 mph or under”, Kobasick says.
